Wax Polishes
Our range of “Wine Gum Oils” are based on bees wax and carnauba wax suspended in vegetable oils and are suitable for producing pectin, gelatine and starch based gums and pastilles. These can also be used for extruded and moulded liquorice products.
AraTAs® Wax Polishes provide excellent anti-sticking properties, whilst also creating a high lustre and gloss. As well as it’s more immediate benefits, these polishes also prevent premature drying and surface cracking of the finished product.
We have developed AraTAs® Confectioners Gum Oil C (CON5016) specifically for liquorice rope.
AraTAs® Anti-Sticking and Glazing Agent B (CON5506) has been developed for wine gums, and can also be modified to include flavours, such as strawberry, orange, lemon and tutti frutti. This adds an initial burst of flavour when packaging is opened and when initially consumed.
